At the Career Center, we offer courses in a variety of career fields for high school students as part of their high school curricula. These courses are listed by the Indiana Department of Education as part of its Career Pathway Initiative. Our programs also reflect employment needs of the communities we serve. Program content is updated regularly through the use of local advisory committees, whose membership includes dedicated professionals working in the various occupational fields.
Our school is designed to meet a variety of future plans. Some of our graduates do put their skills to work right after graduation. However, a growing number of our graduates go on to attend two and four year colleges and universities and are thankful for their Career Center experience. Why? Well, the Career Center not only helped them make an informed decision about their career choice, but also provided them with free college credits that wil now save them time and money in obtaining their degree.
On Saturday, November 12 HOSA students are hosting a 5K walk/run 4 mental health. If you would like to participate please fill out the waiver form and either mail/fax it into Hoosier Hills Career Center or bring it with you to the race. It will start at the Warehouse off of S. Rogers street in Bloomington.
If you would like to be registered and also receive a t-shirt we need to have your form back by Friday, November 5. If you have any questions please feel free to contact HHCC.
MCCSC values the diversity in our schools and community. All students’ experiences and perspectives are assets.
